OUR MISSION

WHAT WE DO

Southwest Veterans Foundation is the charitable arm of Southwest Veterans Chamber of Commerce and was established to further support Veterans and Veteran-oriented non-profit organizations.  Funds raised at the annual Patriots Ball, as well as a portion of the Chamber’s membership dues, help our community by:

  • Providing Scholarships to higher education for Veterans and dependents of Veterans disabled or killed in action; and
  • Granting funds to local non-profit organizations assisting Veterans with a variety of social service needs through our Community Giving program.
SCHOLARSHIPS

The SWVF will award its next round of college scholarships to eligible Veterans (or eligible Veteran spouse/child). This scholarship may be used for tuition, books, classroom supplies, room and board, and other direct fees levied by the educational institution coincident to college enrollment and attendance. The scholarship will be paid to the college for deposit in the student’s account.

PATRIOTS BALL

Proceeds raised at the Patriots Ball fund scholarships to higher education for Veterans and dependents of Veterans disabled or killed in action. Additionally, these funds support financial grants awarded to local non-profit organizations assisting Veterans with a variety of social service needs.
COMMUNITY GIVING

Our Community Giving program provides quarterly financial awards to local non-profit organizations that assist Veterans in our community. Organizations are nominated by members of the Southwest Veterans Chamber of Commerce with one incredible organization selected each quarter.

There are many ways that you or your business can support Southwest Veterans Foundation.
