Southwest Veterans Foundation Veteran Scholarship Opportunity

Scholarships are available to Veterans, currently serving Reservists and National Guard, as well as spouses and children of Veterans killed in action or with 100% service-connected disability. Active duty members are not eligible.

SWVF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and serves as the charitable arm of the Southwest Veterans Chamber of Commerce. It is dedicated to supporting Veterans and their families, and organizations that support our Veterans and their families. We are very pleased to be able to offer another scholarship opportunity to deserving Veterans, or family members of a Veteran killed in service or 100% disabled.  We hold two scholarship award cycles each year, in December and in May.

Veterans are urged to review the announcement and application criteria immediately to ensure their applications are submitted on time to be considered in this cycle. Applicants who applied for previous scholarships and were not chosen are eligible to reapply for this scholarship. Applicants should note that their letters of recommendation must bear an original signature.

The SWVF is requesting the widest possible dissemination of this scholarship opportunity and ask that all readers make a special effort to get it into the hands of our Veterans.

Completed applications with all required documentation must be submitted in a single package:
