The SWVF announced grants to six non-profit members of the Southwest Veterans Chamber of Commerce who provide support to Veterans and their families and who have encountered serious impacts as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ryan Hilbun, President of the SWVF Board of Directors announced that “$500 grants will be made to:

He added that “we are pleased to be able to support these great organizations who serve our Veterans and their families every day of the year.”

Because of restrictions on non-essential activities and the desire to get needed funds to these organizations quickly, the SWVF will forego its normal practice of awarding these grants in public ceremonies. President Hilbun asks that “all members, supporters, and readers of this release assist us in forwarding this positive message throughout our community.”

Tom Sheets, Executive Director, added, “we thank all our SWVCC members and SWVF sponsors and donors who have made these grants possible through their generosity. We cannot do what we do without you.”
