SWVCC Member Wins $5,000 Entrepreneurship/Innovation Competition
Justin Moore, US Air Force Veteran and CEO of Apogee recently won the inaugural East Valley Innovation Night, Pitch + Community Celebration Event at the ASU Innovation Center in downtown Chandler hosted by Arizona State University and the City of Chandler. Participants pitched their company to a panel of judges for prizes and awards. The $5,000 award was given by ASU’s Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute.
Agoge produces a new type of protein powder made from hemp seeds that is organic, gut friendly, and free of all 14 major allergens. Justin noted ‘’I moved to Arizona specifically because of the focus on health, wellness, and sustainability -through ASU, and this has been one of the best decisions of my life. The community has been so welcoming, and being a veteran really matters here. We’re thrilled to receive this award at Agoge and cannot thank ASU and the community enough for such an inviting environment”.
